* Greg Mickan introduced our Guest speaker, Vicky de Prado. She gave an interesting talk about how her father was an exchange student with Kapunda Rotary and attended Kapunda High School in 1971. This experience changed both his life and hers in a number of ways (including her father meeting her mother) and she spoke about his and her continuing involvement with Rotary in South America.

* 3 new Rotarians were inducted and boosted the membership of the Kapunda Rotary club. The club welcomed Leon Dickinson, Arlene Goff-Dickinson and Trish Sweet.
* The 2019 Kidman Rotary Art Show date has been set for 25th – 30th October.
* Planning is continuing for a 60th Anniversary dinner to be held at the Kapunda Bowls Club in August.
* Doug Smith and Trish Sweet attended the Berri Rotary Club Vocational awards, Doug as official photographer of the event. Both spoke of it being a very successful and well attended evening that raised money in the mid $30000s. This money is predominantly used to support vocational students in the Riverland.
