* On the 8/5 Brendan Moten was our guest speaker and spoke about Litl Mo’s bakery. 16 years after its start the Bakery is still going strong and finally expanding on a new site opposite its current location. It will have space for 40+ people who can eat inside and an outdoor eating area seating 20+ persons.
* Our next meeting was a club assembly that dealt with a number of items of business requiring responses. It was agreed to support the Ugandan Dental Program, Kapunda High School Business week and Elijah Smith, a KHS student who has been accepted to attend the UN Youth National Conference, with cash donations.
* Our final meeting of the month we welcomed Tarik Sauer – guest speaker. He spoke about his experiences playing basketball in New Zealand recently as an under 14 Australian representative and thanked the club for assisting him with financial support on this trip.
